Mixed Media Watercolor and Gouache Photography
As an Artist and a Photographer, I have always been intensely interested in the creative process. I love both painting and photography. I spend my time in both mediums.
Recently, I have combined both of my favorite mediums, black and white photography and watercolor. I now create a mixed media painting which starts with a carefully planned and developed black and white photograph printed on 140 lb. watercolor paper. The image is then painted with transparent watercolors allowing the message in the image to be further emphasized through specific areas of color.
